Rump is a very full-flavoured piece of meat that is excellent and versatile when roasted, braised or casseroled, stir fried or pan fried. This is a great cut of meat if you're on a budget but still want to retain some great flavour in your meals.
Being grass fed, this rump is leaner and healthier than its counter part, grain fed beef. This means good eating for the whole family without breaking the bank.
It is recommended to maximize tenderness that your cook rump steaks to medium rare as these cuts can become very tough if over cooked due to the part of the cow they are from being heavily exercised during its lifetime.
