The bolar blade is cut from the shoulder clod portion of the Chuck. It does a lot of work during the animal's lifetime, and is thus tough & has a lot of connective tissue, but also excellent flavour.

For tender, delicious meat - bolar blade is perfect for braising (pot-roasting), cutting stew meat or grinding into ground beef patties.

Tender, juicy and with a buttery flavour that lives long in the memory, Black Opal Wagyu sits at the very pinnacle of Australian wagyu.
When you select Black Opal, there are no surprises, and this is exactly why our customers choose it - because they receive Wagyu that lives up to their expectations every time.

It’s their long-term approach to the production of Black Opal Wagyu, which begins with cattle raised on Victoria and Tasmania’s pristine pastures before spending a minimum of 380 days on grain in their dedicated feed lots.

The entire Black Opal process, from breeding to processing guarantees the consistent supply of Australia’s finest Wagyu, all year round. Each and every Black Opal product comes with guaranteed, verifiable provenance and they assure 100% quality satisfaction.

Please note that we can only pack Beef Steaks and Chicken Breast singularly, all other products have a minimum of 2 pieces or 200 grams per bag unless otherwise
stated.

All of our online products are vacuum sealed except for our fresh Sausages, Rissoles and Burgers, Pastries and crumbed products. Eg: Schnitzels, Chicken Kievs, Nuggets.
