These all natural hog or pig intestine casings are made and processed in Australia to Australian food standards.

This pack of bulk sausage casings contains around 80 metres of casing and will fill approximately 50kg of sausage.

Hog casings make the best eating and cooking sausage, these skins will expand and contract during cooking which almost eliminates the chance of bursting.

It is always best to cook a snag on a lower slower temperature to avoid the potential of bursting.

These sausage casings are suitable for a larger continental size sausage like a Bratwurst and come packed in salt. Once opened you simply need to keep them refrigerated in the food grade zip lock pouch they come in and keep them salted and moist. Storing them this way will ensure that they will remain good for a very long time.

Please note that we can only pack Beef Steaks and Chicken Breast singularly, all other products have a minimum of 2 pieces or 200 grams per bag (Mince min. 500g) unless otherwise stated.

All of our online products are vacuum sealed except for our fresh Sausages, Rissoles and Burgers, Pastries and crumbed products. Eg: Schnitzels, Chicken Kievs, Nuggets.

We offer free GPS tracked & refrigerated local delivery on orders over $200, or $19 under. Check if you’re eligible for delivery by opening the cart and using the postcode checker.

We also offer free pickup at any Super Butcher store from Tuesday to Saturday.

You can choose your pickup or delivery date in the checkout. Order before 10am for next day pickup & delivery, depending on availability.

Our online delivery orders are packed neatly in a thick cardboard box with an insulated liner, complete with plenty of gel ice packs - all of which are soft plastics recyclable, and delivered fresh via refrigerated couriers. This box can keep your order cool for up to 4 hours after delivery.
