Our Red Wine Lamb Shanks are made for low and slow cooking, bringing together one of the most-loved lamb cuts with a rich, hearty marinade built for comfort food season.

Perfect for the slow cooker, oven or simmering pot, these lamb shanks cook down beautifully until the meat is tender, juicy and falling off the bone. The red wine marinade adds deep, savoury flavour, making it easy to create a warming family meal with minimal prep.

Add your favourite root vegetables, stock and a spoonful of tomato paste, then let time do the work. Serve with creamy mash, roasted vegetables or crusty bread for a limited edition online only meal worth slowing down for.

These shanks come approx. 4 per 1.5kg and cannot be portioned down.

All of our online products are vacuum sealed except for our fresh Sausages, Rissoles and Burgers, Pastries and crumbed products. Eg: Schnitzels, Chicken Kievs, Nuggets.

We offer free GPS tracked & refrigerated local delivery on orders over $200, or $19 under. Check if you’re eligible for delivery by opening the cart and using the postcode checker.

We also offer free pickup at any Super Butcher store from Tuesday to Saturday.

You can choose your pickup or delivery date in the checkout. Order before 10am for next day pickup & delivery, depending on availability.

Our online delivery orders are packed neatly in a thick cardboard box with an insulated liner, complete with plenty of gel ice packs - all of which are soft plastics recyclable, and delivered fresh via refrigerated couriers. This box can keep your order cool for up to 4 hours after delivery.

Do you want the whole rump cap separated from a whole rump for a roast? No problem! Let us know in the order instructions. As long as its something our butchers can do safely, we'll be happy to oblige and let you know if there are any issues.

Once you select pick-up or delivery and enter the checkout, you will find the entry box on the right-hand side of our shipping details and choose your date pages (pages 1 and 2 of the checkout).

Our bulk beef items are advertised as they are, in bulk! This means they will hold some liquid in the bag, as genetically meat is roughly 75% water, 20% protein and 5% fat and other vitamins. These proteins mix with the liquids and extrude from meat over time (no, that's not blood in your bag).


If you are purchasing a bulk item and ask us to slice this into steaks for you, there is loss from this extrusion as well as the trim from any end cuts, large deposits of gristle or hard fats from the product.

Don't want any loss? Ask to keep the trim or for the product to be left whole so you can cut it at home.
