Royal 100 Rump Steaks are bold, hearty, and packed with rich, full-bodied beef flavour. Combining a satisfying bite with impressive tenderness, this premium rump delivers the consistency and eating quality expected from one of Australia's most exclusive beef programs. Perfect for BBQs, grilling, pan-searing, reverse searing, or slicing thin for stir-fries.

Sourced exclusively from the Royal 100 program, these steaks come from elite cattle entered into the prestigious RNA Paddock to Palate Competition. Grain fed for 100 days and expertly processed at JBS Beef City, Royal 100 beef is celebrated for its superior marbling, exceptional consistency, and award-worthy flavour.

Cook quickly over high heat, then rest before slicing to maximise tenderness and lock in every drop of juicy flavour.

Slice sizes are as follows:

  • Medium ~ 22mm/300g +/- 5%
  • Thick ~ 30mm/400g +/- 5%

Whether it's a family BBQ or a premium steak dinner, Royal 100 Rump Steaks deliver the perfect combination of robust flavour, tenderness, and Australia's finest grain-fed beef in every bite.

Marbling and shape may vary from product picture.

Royal 100 is sourced exclusively from livestock entered in the RNA Paddock to Palate competition that is held only once a year to determine the best 100 day grain fed beef Queensland has to offer.

The RNA Paddock to Palate competition is Australia’s richest beef supply chain competition and is held once a year in conjunction with the Ekka. It pits the best cattle producers against each other to create arguably Australia’s best and most prestigious beef.

JBS is Australia’s largest feedlotter and beef producer and proud host of this competition.

The cattle are fed for 100 days and processed through JBS’s vertically integrated Beef City feedlot and processing plant to ensure that the Royal 100 beef delivers a consistent, delicious and high-quality dining experience.

“The RNA Paddock to Palate Competition celebrates and recognises producers revolutionizing on farm practices to achieve outstanding results and deliver excellent beef” - Mr Noller, RNA President.

Our bulk beef items are advertised as they are, in bulk! This means they will hold some liquid in the bag, as genetically meat is roughly 75% water, 20% protein and 5% fat and other vitamins. These proteins mix with the liquids and extrude from meat over time (no, that's not blood in your bag).

If you are purchasing a bulk item and ask us to slice this into steaks for you, there is loss from this extrusion as well as the trim from any end cuts, large deposits of gristle or hard fats from the product.

Don't want any loss? Ask to keep the trim or for the product to be left whole so you can cut it at home.
