Rump cap is the cut that rests on top of the rump. Because it’s not an exerted muscle, rump cap is tender with a layer of fat that flavours and moistens the meat as it cooks. Rump cap makes a tender roast, or you can slice it against the grain for petite steaks and tender stir-fry strips.

Due to their inherent shape, when slicing Rump Caps we will always pack the tip ends 2 per bag as they produce much smaller slices.

Stockyard long fed beef is derived from Angus cattle fed on a formulated high energy grain ration for a minimum of 200 days at Kerwee Feedlot.

The meat from their Angus beef cattle is popular in fine-dining restaurants throughout the world and is renowned for its sensational taste and guaranteed tenderness.

Stockyard Gold has been a consistent medal winner at branded beef competitions held in Australia over the last 20 years.

All of our online products are vacuum sealed except for our fresh Sausages, Rissoles and Burgers, Pastries and crumbed products. Eg: Schnitzels, Chicken Kievs, Nuggets.

We offer free GPS tracked & refrigerated local delivery on orders over $200, or $19 under. Check if you’re eligible for delivery by opening the cart and using the postcode checker.

We also offer free pickup at any Super Butcher store from Tuesday to Saturday.

You can choose your pickup or delivery date in the checkout. Order before 10am for next day pickup & delivery, depending on availability.

Our online delivery orders are packed neatly in a thick cardboard box with an insulated liner, complete with plenty of gel ice packs - all of which are soft plastics recyclable, and delivered fresh via refrigerated couriers. This box can keep your order cool for up to 4 hours after delivery.

the only way to buy

i was paying the crazy prices at woolies for steak and you have to buy one at a time so it could be $80 for 4 steaks. buying a whole rump then have it sliced the way you want it is the best way and you know your getting quality
