Super Butcher Birkdale Closing After 10 Years

We have always valued the strong community connections we've built and the support we've received from each of you. Today, we write to you with a mix of emotions to share an important update regarding our Birkdale store.

After a memorable journey of 10 years at our Birkdale location, the time has come for us to make a significant change. It is with a heavy heart that we announce we will not be renewing our lease at the Birkdale site, and consequently, our store there will be closing.

This decision was not made lightly. Our Birkdale store has been a vital part of our journey, filled with cherished memories and invaluable experiences. We've had the pleasure of getting to know our Birkdale family - you, our loyal customers - and have sincerely loved every minute of our time together in this community.

However, every ending is a new beginning. This bittersweet moment also marks an exciting new chapter for our hard-working Birkdale team. They will be transitioning to a new store location, one that is spacious enough to allow them to showcase their full potential and continue to provide the exceptional service and quality products you've come to expect from Super Butcher.

A New Chapter At Wynnum

We are, however, incredibly excited to tell you about where Mitch is taking his Birkdale troupe - to Wynnum! We will be closing the doors of our Birkdale store for the last time on Sunday, 26th of November. And we're thrilled to announce that we will be reopening at Wynnum Plaza, beside our new neighbours Nutrition Warehouse, Supercheap Auto, Goodlife, Petbarn, and more on December 2nd.

As you know, Mitch and his team love to have some fun, so they'll be throwing a massive party on Saturday, 2nd December to celebrate the Grand Opening of the store, and you're invited! This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for us to reconnect, celebrate, and kick off this new chapter together.
