Please note: Whole rump steaks can be halved on request. As this cut tapers, sizes may vary. You may also leave an order note to request portions be left as roasts, or sliced into stir-fry strips or diced.

When sliced, whole rumps can lose up to 25% of their total weight from offcuts, which you can choose to keep or discard, and liquid expulsion/soaker pads.

*Serving sizes are approximate and may vary slightly. If you have a preferred target weight per steak, simply leave a note in the order comments at checkout and our butchers will do their best to accommodate.

Please note that we can only pack Beef Steaks and Chicken Breast singularly, all other products have a minimum of 2 pieces or 200 grams per bag unless otherwise
stated.

All of our online products are vacuum sealed except for our fresh Sausages, Rissoles and Burgers, Pastries and crumbed products. Eg: Schnitzels, Chicken Kievs, Nuggets.

We offer free GPS tracked & refrigerated local delivery on orders over $200, or $19 under. Check if you’re eligible for delivery by opening the cart and using the postcode checker.

We also offer free pickup at any Super Butcher store from Tuesday to Saturday.

Our online delivery orders are packed neatly in a thick cardboard box with an insulated liner, complete with plenty of gel ice packs - all of which are soft plastics recyclable, and delivered fresh via refrigerated couriers. This box can keep your order cool for up to 4 hours after delivery.

Delicious Pub grade steaks but fresher

Tasted amazing! Cut up a couple of big steaks seasoned with Jack Danials seasoning for today and diced the rest into thick strips for rice bowls. I made the steaks rare, and it just melted. Very similar to what you'd get from any pub steak $22 special. Except fresh with no sign of that aging/not fresh steak taste you get from pub steak specials you need to cover with diane gravy + the flavour of a fresh steak was very pronounced. VERY flavourful and JUICY. Like the blood hadn't had a chance to leak out of the meat yet. NO GRAVY NEEDED! I felt bad having to freeze the strips for my rice bowls :(. Tasted so good I half wanted to throw a BBQ for my neighbours instead of freezing it!

The best meat I've ever eaten was working at Nolans meats abitours and having beef bits cut from the cow within an hour of the cows passing to the point the muscle fibres were still twitching after being cooked like the tissue was still alive.

My steaks today gave me enjoyment not too far away from that experience. 10/10

Once you select pick-up or delivery and enter the checkout, you will find the entry box on the right-hand side of our shipping details and choose your date pages (pages 1 and 2 of the checkout).

Our bulk beef items are advertised as they are, in bulk! This means they will hold some liquid in the bag, as genetically meat is roughly 75% water, 20% protein and 5% fat and other vitamins. These proteins mix with the liquids and extrude from meat over time (no, that's not blood in your bag).


If you are purchasing a bulk item and ask us to slice this into steaks for you, there is loss from this extrusion as well as the trim from any end cuts, large deposits of gristle or hard fats from the product.

Don't want any loss? Ask to keep the trim or for the product to be left whole so you can cut it at home.

By selecting "Yes" for “Keep the offcuts?” you’ll receive the smaller end pieces and trimmings that come from slicing your bulk beef — the same beef, just in uneven shapes and sizes, perfect for tallow or a super special treat for your furry friends.
