Renowned as the most tender cut of beef, the eye fillet is ideal for reverse searing, pan frying, or roasting whole. Cooked to medium-rare or medium, it delivers a luxuriously soft texture with a deep, mature flavour that sets it apart from standard fillets. This is not your average tenderloin — it’s eye fillet with history, character, and complexity.
These Wagyu cows are retired breeding stock, selected for their superior genetics and raised naturally on pasture. Their beef is 100% grass fed and certified under Greenham’s Never Ever program, ensuring:

Mimicking the revered Vaca Vieja of Europe, this aged Wagyu develops an intensely beefy flavour while maintaining its famed marbling and tenderness. The Natural State Hanging Method — where carcases are hip-hung rather than from the Achilles — enhances eating quality, especially in premium hindquarter cuts like this.
Vintage Wagyu - These cows are breeding stock from the finest Wagyu in Australia, chosen for consistent and high quality genetics. With ages of up to fifteen years, the meat holds a spectacular depth of flavour alongside creamy marbling – The Grande Dame of old cows.
All of the meat is 100% Grass fed and certified by the third party audited Greenham Never Ever program.
Vintage Beef Wagyu is produced from wagyu beef cows that range between 9-15 years old and is said to be most similar to the Vaca Vieja (old cow) beef from the Spanish/French Basque region in flavour.
Vintage cows are hung with the Natural State Hanging Method which sees the carcases hung from the hip in their natural position and not from the Achilles thereby promoting better eating quality in the hindquarter cuts, particularly in the Striploin and the Rump.
Please note that we can only pack Beef Steaks and Chicken Breast singularly, all other products have a minimum of 2 pieces or 200 grams per bag unless otherwise
stated.
All of our online products are vacuum sealed except for our fresh Sausages, Rissoles and Burgers, Pastries and crumbed products. Eg: Schnitzels, Chicken Kievs, Nuggets.
Our online delivery orders are packed neatly in a thick cardboard box with an insulated liner, complete with plenty of gel ice packs, all of which are recyclable*. This box can keep your order cool for up to 2 hours after delivery.
