Beef chuck is an economical cut with a great texture. Although it is often (unfairly) packaged as low-quality stew beef, chuck is actually one of the most flavoursome beef cuts available.

Chuck makes for a perfect casserole. Browning the meat prior to slow cooking caramelises the meat and adds flavour. In addition, marinating the meat prior to slow cooking will help bring out the flavour of the beef even more.

Wagyu is full of finely flecked intramuscular fat - this fat is full of intense flavour, and melts much closer to room temperature than regular fat. This means that less fat makes it into your waist, but all the flavour makes it onto your plate.

Our online delivery orders are packed neatly in a thick cardboard box with an insulated liner, complete with plenty of gel ice packs, all of which are recyclable*. This box can keep your order cool for up to 2 hours after delivery.

Slow Cook Essential

Beautiful flavour. Melt in your mouth texture. After browning, we slow cooked this in coconut cream and a medium heat massamam curry, and could not have been happier with the end result. Had with Thai red chilli, coriander, crispy fried shallots, roasted peanuts and brown rice. Even the kids came back for 2nds and 3rds. Great price for exceptional quality beef. Great Brisket Alternative

I smoked d this low and slow just like a brisket. No trimming required and all that internal fat rendered down to make a juicy succulent result.

Method- cooked at 250F to 275F in the Bronco Pro drum smoker to 165F internal and the wrapped in foil and kept cooking till 203F internal and probe tender.

Serving suggestion - Between two pieces of bread with teriyaki sauce and a dollop of sour cream and then in the toastie maker. The teriyaki and sour cream blend together with the meat to make the best thing on sliced bread since...sliced bread.

Great cut for casserole or stew. Trimmed it myself, with little waste. Easy to cut. Great tasting, just melts in your mouth.
